In order to raise awareness against the practice of finning, the artist Beli has created fins in monumental to mini sizes (HxWxD) 6 x 8 x 1 cm as part of the \u201cBEautiful aLIve\u201d collection. The mini series (H6) dedicated to Art Action has the particularity of being hand painted which brings a touch of originality to each piece which becomes unique.<\/p>\n
A fin<\/strong> because \u201cfinning\u201d or fin cutting and overfishing have not disappeared. Awareness, information and education can slow down this ecological disaster.<\/p>\n A special edition of 273 fins<\/strong>: the previous special edition of the artist’s fins (H9 and H11) was 100, a figure reminiscent of the 100 million sharks killed per year, a consensus figure accepted by both defenders and fishermen.
