Description
This fin n°33/100 is painted in navy blue & turquoise on the front and natural bronze color on the rear.
Quick note: In order to raise public awareness against the practice of cutting fins, the artist BELI has created fins in monumental to mini sizes, including this H10 series measuring 10cm in height, part of the “BEautiful aLIve” collection.
A fin because finning and overfishing have not disappeared. Awareness, information and education can slow down this ecological disaster
A special edition of 100 fins initiated in 2014: a figure which, at the time when this fin was born, recalled the 100 million sharks killed per year. A “politically correct” and consensual figure accepted by both shark defenders and fishermen. Ten years later, the figures announced by Sea Shepherd are much more dramatic.
A notch on this fin, as on all the others signed Beli, because it is the symbol of the injuries inflicted on sharks by humans, injuries which have repercussions on the balance and biodiversity of the oceans.
Let’s protect the oceans, sharks are alive and well, and essential to the good health of the oceans!
